The MatingMark Deluxe Ram Harness Tupping Bundle provides a complete and practical ram marking system for monitoring breeding activity throughout the sheep tupping season.
The bundle includes a MatingMark Deluxe Ram Harness in Red/Black together with 3 MatingMark Cold Weather Ram Crayons, giving farmers everything needed to clearly identify ewes as they are served.
The adjustable harness is fitted securely to the ram with a MatingMark crayon positioned against his chest. When the ram serves a ewe, the crayon transfers a visible coloured mark onto her back, providing a simple visual record of mating activity across the flock.
Changing crayon colours at planned intervals throughout tupping makes it easier to monitor service periods, repeat services and ewes returning to the ram. This information can also help farmers estimate expected lambing periods and organise ewes into approximate lambing groups.
The included Cold Weather MatingMark Crayons are formulated for dependable marking during cooler conditions commonly encountered during the UK tupping season.
